A Few Words on Why Villa Słoneczna Was Established Here, in Dębowiec...
Villa Słoneczna is the realization of our dreams. In searching for the best location, we chose the municipality of Dębowiec. What charmed us so much about it?
First and foremost, the landscape. Floodplains, rapeseed fields, hills shimmering on the horizon, and space that allows for deeper breathing.
And it is also worth breathing here because of the natural wealth of Dębowiec – the exceptionally rich brine deposits lying more than 500 meters underground. It's worth knowing that staying in the closest zone of these brines allows for natural inhalation of the upper respiratory tract, similar, or even better, than that conducted in the seaside area! Our brines are biologically clean and contain a much higher mineralization (for instance, iodine content in 1 liter is almost 20 times more than in the Baltic Sea).
Another thing that amazes here are the oaks – after all, the name obliges! In the valley of the Knajka River, flora enthusiasts can marvel at wonderful natural monuments. The most valuable of them are 6 pedunculate oaks, each about 300 years old, with circumferences ranging from 345 to 470 cm.
There are also unique specimens of fauna here, as there is a waterfowl and wetland bird reserve. During hikes in the area, you can see rare birds. There are night herons, river and white-winged terns, bitterns, white-tailed eagles, herons, black woodpeckers, and cranes.
When designing the guesthouse, we wanted to show you as much of the charms of this place as possible. We situated Villa Słoneczna among the floodplains and fields so that every guest could feel this wonderful space and feast their eyes on the panorama of the Cieszyn Foothills. The layout of the building promotes nature observation – each room is a separate apartment with direct access from the balcony. As a result, instead of the sounds of a staircase, the sounds of nature reach the rooms. Silence, peace, space, and a rural atmosphere encourage outdoor activities.
